Tricia Holmes is a film editor with a career spanning 10+ years in features, shorts, television series, and pilots.
Originally from Maine, Tricia began her career as an intern for the VP of Post Production at Focus Features. As an Assistant Editor, she worked on numerous films and television shows such as THE MARVELOUS MRS. MAISEL, PRIVATE LIFE, THE WHITE TIGER, and BEN IS BACK, among others.
She recently edited the upcoming feature THE BEST YOU CAN (dir. Michael Weithorn), starring Kevin Bacon & Kyra Sedgwick. Her film, A LITTLE PRAYER (dir. Angus MacLachlan), had its world premiere in the Premieres Section at the 2023 Sundance Film Festival. Its warm reception garnered early Oscar’s buzz for lead David Strathairn.
Tricia thrives on collaboration, and the dedication required of editors. She approaches her craft with the deepest integrity, conscious that the highest quality of art and storytelling cannot exist without it. Her subsequent passions for design, photography, and writing help inform her editing process and better equip her to work towards achieving a director’s vision.
